The Dinah Shore Course in the Real World
Located in beautiful Rancho Mirage, California, the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club is a premier golfing destination with a storied history. Designed by the renowned Desmond Muirhead, the course opened in 1971 and quickly became one of the most prestigious venues in women’s golf. Muirhead’s vision was to create a championship-level course that would challenge even the best players while highlighting the beauty of the desert landscape.
The Dinah Shore Course is known for its immaculate fairways, expansive greens, and well-placed water hazards that come into play on several holes. The course’s most famous feature is Poppie’s Pond, a water hazard near the 18th green, where champions would traditionally take a celebratory leap after winning the LPGA's first major of the season.
As the original home of The Chevron Championship, one of the LPGA Tour’s five Major Championships, the Dinah Shore Course has played host to legends of the game for decades. Golfers face a rigorous test of precision and strategy, as the course demands accuracy off the tee and careful navigation around its challenging bunkers and undulating greens.
The course’s setting is as impressive as its layout, with stunning views of the San Jacinto Mountains and lush greenery providing a tranquil backdrop to a challenging round. Known for its commitment to excellent conditioning and environmental stewardship, the Dinah Shore Course is certified by the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program, ensuring that it meets high standards for sustainability.

Now, we are thrilled to bring the beauty of Mission Hills CC and the Dinah Shore Course to you! To kick things off, we've got a special lineup of Ultimate Golf events spanning two full weeks.
For the first week, Ultimate Pass holders will get exclusive early access to the Dinah Shore Course in six unique UG tournaments. The course will then be open to ALL Ultimate Golfers in three different UG tournaments the following week! Check out the full schedule here:

Ultimate Pass Exclusive Tournament at Mission Hills CC
Exclusive to Ultimate Pass holders, this 3-round Tournament will have two days of 9-hole events, concluding with a 48-hour 18-hole round on Wednesday & Thursday. All three rounds will take place at the Dinah Shore Course!
